The Got staff reviewing my request, the selected merchant and the Got representative who visits me see what they need for their part. If my request is approved, my portrait and the front of my identity document are printed on the agreement so the representative can check my identity at signing; the copy a representative who only collects payments can open, and the copy sent to me by post, leave those photos out. I agree that this data is stored on Got's servers in the United States, outside Guyana, and that encrypted backup copies are kept by Got's management outside Guyana. I can withdraw this consent at any time, in these ways. Before I send a request, I can delete its photos, or my account, in the Got app or on my account page. Once a request is sent, its photos can no longer be deleted one by one: while no order has been approved for me, deleting my account deletes my requests and all their photos, or I can write to Got to withdraw a request. Once Got has approved an order for me, my sent requests and their photos are kept with the agreement for as long as the law requires Got to keep the agreement, even if I delete my account. Withdrawal does not undo what was done before it, and records that the law requires Got to keep, such as a signed agreement and payment records, are kept.

Got purchase request - GY - GY-UNDERTAKING-v6-email Customer undertaking — Guyana I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older. I confirm that the identity documents, portrait, address and mobile number I provide are mine and are accurate, and that I am applying for myself. I ask Got and the selected merchant to review this request and to contact me about it by my verified email or by the mobile number I give, which is required for every request. I understand the price shown is the cash price and it is the total price I pay: a deposit of at least 25% when I sign the agreement, then the rest in 3 equal monthly instalments. No interest, finance charge, service fee or late fee is added (0% APR). I understand that before I am asked to pay anything, I must receive a separate written agreement stating the genuine cash price, the total hire-purchase price, my deposit, and the amount and date of every instalment, together with the notices required under the Hire-Purchase Act 2022. I understand that my signature in the app applies only to this request. The hire-purchase agreement itself is printed and signed by hand when the Got representative visits me, and a signed copy is given or sent to me within seven days (Hire-Purchase Act 2022, section 3(3)). Electronic signatures do not apply to that agreement (Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 2023, section 4 and Schedule, item 1). I understand that a decision on this request is made by people, not automatically, and that Got may ask me for more information or decline the request. This undertaking covers a REQUEST for review. It is not a hire-purchase agreement, not credit approval, not a payment authorisation and not permission to repossess anything. You may withdraw before signing a binding agreement, and signing here waives none of your statutory rights. GOVERNING LAW This request and any agreement that follows it are governed by the laws of Guyana. Where any term written by Got conflicts with the Hire-Purchase Act 2022, consumer protection law, or any other applicable Guyanese law, the law prevails and the conflicting term has no effect. Nothing here removes a right the law gives you, and nothing here gives Got a right the law does not allow. BEFORE ANY PAYMENT Local law comes first at the moment of payment. Before any deposit, instalment or collection is taken, the binding agreement must already state the genuine cash price, the total hire-purchase price, the deposit, every instalment amount and due date, and the statutory notices your country requires. If anything Got writes conflicts with that law, the law applies and our wording does not.
